A FOND FAREWELL AND A WARM WELCOME

A parish community is a family, and it takes a team of dedicated people to achieve the many goals that we have in the service of the Lord and the wider community. There have been recent changes in key positions in the parish office team.

Our Administrative Assistant to the Pastor, Bernadette Clune and our Parish Finance Manager, her husband David Clune have both retired after years of dedicated service to our parish. Bernadette has served the parish well for over 20 years in the SCRIP office, the PREP office, and as an exceptional Administrative Assistant to me. Her talent, professionalism, and kindness have been invaluable. David has served our parish since 2018 first as an assistant in the Finance Office and then as the Finance Manager. I am grateful for all his hard work and dedication. I cannot imagine how we could have accomplished all that we have done as a parish team without the Clunes. Please join me in wishing them all the best for a happy and healthy retirement.

Please join me in extending a warm welcome to those who have assumed the two important positions previously held by the Clunes. Victoria White who is new to our office team has begun her term as the Administrative Assistant to the Pastor. Victoria has served as a PREP catechist in the past, and she has many of the qualities of professionalism and kindness that we have experienced with Bernadette. I look forward to working with her. Mary Wojciechowski has assumed the position of Parish Finance Manager. Most of you know Mary from her excellent leadership of our parish carnival for the past few years. She has also served as an assistant to David Clune in the Finance Office. Her transition to the Manager should be smooth and natural.

We have every reason to be confident with all the recent changes. As always, we have confidence for the future, because God is already there.

Your pastor,

Reverend Robert G. Suskey
