Our Scrip Office is located in the Parish Trinity Center

What is Scrip?
Scrip is a term that means “Substitute Money.” Scrip is simply another name for “Gift Certificates.” If you have ever used a gift certificate, then you’ve used Scrip!

When you purchase Scrip, you’re purchasing negotiable gift certificates and prepaid cards that are used just like cash. You can use Scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials.

Why purchase Scrip?
The Parish purchases gift certificates or Scrip from retailers at a discount. Parishioners & school families buy the gift certificates at face value. The difference in price is credited to your family school tuition balance, Tuition Assistance, Parish Capital Improvements, Prep Class, or any other school: it’s your choice!

How much does Scrip cost?
No additional costs are incurred & you pay face value for the gift certificates.

A family who purchases $250.00 a week in groceries can save $520.00 a year in tuition. That’s almost 2 whole tuition payments! Plus, other family members can also purchase Scrip for your family.

Tuition can be further reduced by doing all your purchases with Scrip Gift Cards. Our Lady of Good Counsel has over 100 Vendors!
